Mystery man is a song about a part of a person that they are hiding and won't let free. It's about having a hidden personality and when you want to let the real person free you can't because you don't yet fully know who they are.

We wanted to explore the use of metaphor in this song to leave the story line up to the listeners imagination, this way it allows the audience to connect in which ever way they desire, weather they like the fun and exiting story where it's someone looking for a mystery man or the deeper, metaphorical story where someone is looking for there real identity.

We wanted make it accessible from two different point of views where some could see it that it as someone looking for  a literal mystery man or some would see it as a man looking for the real him and seeking reassurance in himself.
